Common Mistakes Firms Make on Proposals
May 3, 2017 @ 2 pm ET / 1 pm CT / 12 pm MT / 11 am PT

Program Level: Advanced | Prerequisites & Advanced Prep: None
CPE: 1 hr. in Marketing | Delivery Method: Group Internet Based

When you assemble a proposal, do you consider the people who will read and evaluate it? You should, because their opinions are the only ones that matter.

In this fun, fast-paced webinar, Joe Latta will review findings from Freestyle Editorial's recent survey of commercial and government proposal evaluators. He'll discuss how and why you may be annoying evaluators, as well as strategies for making their job easier while setting your firm apart from the competition.

Learning Objectives:
• Understand how prospects read, evaluate, and remember the information in your proposals
Recognize what information proposal evaluators do and don't want to see in your documents
Develop a simple strategy for conditioning evaluators to think positively about your proposals

Our Speaker:

Joe Latta founded Freestyle Editorial Services in early 2013, armed with one client, a trusty dog, and a passion for developing clear, compelling content. Today each is still going strong, but now Freestyle partners with more than 50 organizations across the country, providing them with the tools to inform, persuade, and win more business.

As Freestyle's Director, Joe ensures timely client service and acts as the lead writer and editor for various client projects. In addition, he regularly facilitates proposal workshops and speaks at seminars on persuasive business writing and editing techniques.

Prior to Freestyle, Joe served as the manager and quality control reviewer of proposal and marketing teams at several national consulting firms. While in these roles, he led the creation of content across the sales cycle, resulting in improved awareness, credibility, conversion rates, and new and cross-sold business.
