Micah Zender is a 6th generation designer, 2nd generation researcher, and 1st generation innovator. Over the last twenty years, his work has been recognized by industry associations of various sizes, including the Smithsonian Institute. He has lectured on design, technology, and innovation throughout the United States, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Micah taught at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design Architecture Art and Planning (DAAP) for 6 years, instructing students who later went on to work for the biggest names in technology and consumer products.
Micah’s a firm believer in the power that design and innovation can have on an organization, and has used his skills to help companies generate 100’s of millions in new revenue. His passion is centered around helping organizations identify, create, and launch breakthrough products - while growing their internal innovation and entrepreneurial systems.
Micah holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, continues to evolve as a spouse and parent of 3 children, aspires to be a fine woodworker, and is known to apply his design and innovation skills within his garden.
