Dear Colleagues,

The Region will have their annual meeting next 20-22 August in San José, Costa Rica.

A good attendance is expected and we will examine the current scope of the Taxes and Auditing Committees.

Of course, we will have some time to examine the crisis effect in the different countries of the Region. Representatives from a prospective member firm from Panama have been invited to attend the meeting. A partner of Kane & Company, from Miami, has also announced his attendance.

During the first current half year, we have received an audit engagement required by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Co-operation and Development (BMZ) which has been undertaken in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay.
