Arrive at the latest in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (www.rio.rj.gov.br) to join the Welcome Dinner party being held for the group at the tour hotel.  This will start at 19.00 in the Salon Copacabana at the Sofitel Rio de Janeiro (www.sofitel.com.br), which is the hotel where the group will be staying throughout their stay in this wonderful city.

The dinner will be the chance to re-activate old acquaintances and get to know new ones who will be together with you for the next six days.
The hotel itself is located at the southern end of Copacabana beach and looks out along the entire length of this world famous stretch of sand and also onto Leme Beach, another of the famous seven beaches of the city. This spectacular view will be had from the room where the welcome dinner is being held and also from your own bedrooms.
