Following the success of the previous pre-congress tour in China in 2005 another opportunity is being given to the membership to enjoy the attractions of an area which will not have been visited by many AGN personnel up until now.

A tour has therefore been designed to allow everyone going on it to sample to delights, both visual and atmospheric, of the southern part of South America before joining in the World Congress sessions in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The tour will start in the evening of Friday September 19, 2008 in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and last for seven days until arriving in the late afternoon of Thursday September 25 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. On the way, it will embrace the delights of Rio itself, the old colonial town of Parity and the waterfalls of Iguassu, from both the Brazilian and Argentinean sides. Multi-lingual guides will accompany the tour throughout and be on hand for any assistance needed.

In order to ensure your participation on this event, you must complete and return the Registration Form to the International Executive Office in London no later than June 1, 2008. This will ensure that you are booked into the tour hotels and more importantly on the two flight sectors that are involved in the tour programme. The frequency of scheduled flights in the region is considerably less than on other continents and therefore it is necessary to book seats much earlier than would be the case elsewhere in order to ensure that travel takes place on both the day and time required.
