Attire

Business casual will be appropriate for all technical sessions and social events. Do remember that hotel air conditioning systems are prone to fluctuation; you may wish to bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions to ensure your comfort.

The Monday dinner cruise  on the Odyssey can be your opportunity to dress up! For women, cocktail wear, a dress or dressy-casual attire is appropriate. For men, collared shirts and dress pants are recommended. Dressy jeans are acceptable. Casual jeans, t-shirts, athletic shoes or flip flops are discouraged.

Weather

In Washington DC, temperatures at this time of the year will usually
average a mild 52°F. However, traditionally high temperatures can reach up to 60°F. Average lows are expected to fall to 43°C. Usually rain in November will be relatively light. And if there is a heavy rainfall, it shouldn't last for too long.

For a comfortable visit, bring lots of layers of light clothes that can then be adjusted as the forecast changes. A light coat or umbrella is always wise, for protection when the rain falls
